For
Teachers in the Northwest Territories:
The Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centres
Education Services office has several resources that
are loaned upon request to schools in the NWT. Many
of these resources are directly related to the content
of the Idaa Trail. Please visit the Teachers
section of the museums web site for descriptions
of the materials available and borrowing procedures.

Welcome to the
Idaa Trail Teachers Guide. Here youll find an outline of how
the site works, what types of resources are available, and a downloadable Lesson
Plan package with complete lesson plans for each of the sites on the Idaa Trail.
There are two
ways you can travel the Idaa Trail:
- Click the START
button at the left to travel the Idaa Trail with a Dogrib family in our illustrated
online storybook. This part of the site includes activities and games, and
is intended for younger visitors.
- Or, for a more
indepth experience, go to the IDAA TRAIL HOME to
browse photos, video and audio as you explore the historical and cultural
significance of eight sites on the Idaa Trail. This stream is intended for
