Within a couple of hours, the group was sitting around the fire, fresh duck roasting
on the grill in front of them. When they were cooked, Etseh offered everyone a
piece.
John couldn't wait. He reached inside his pant pocket to get his knife. It was
gone! He grabbed his other pockets. Nothing. "Hey! I lost my knife!" The others
just looked at him shaking their heads as they chewed.
"The last time I had it was this morning..." John looked over at Etseh.
Slowly, he reached in his pocket and passed the knife to John.
"What a day!" said
John.
