Soon they emptied the net and a dozen fat whitefish lay on a blanket of freshly
cut willows. Etsi, Nora and John helped cut the fish and hang them to dry. This
way they could take the fish with them to eat later.
Lunch was a yummy fish soup.
"Eat up," said Etseh. "We'll be paddling to Nidziikaa Kogolaa when
you're finished."
Nora
and John were eager to get going. They wanted to hear the stories their grandfather
had promised.
