Artifacts at the Site
Artifacts related to stone tool manufacture and quarrying were found at Blood Rock. The waste rock (detritus) generated by the collection of stone is two metres deep in some areas. Evidence of tool manufacture was discovered at Blood Rock, although no tools were found there. Several partially completed stone tools were found, however, at a nearby site, including hide scrapers, knives and arrowheads.
