Exploring the Place

Only a few feet offshore, the water at Dah?ake  deepens considerably. These deep pools are the ideal spots to catch lake trout. Whereas one would normally have to fish from a canoe to catch lake trout (which tend to stay deep in the water), the spruce branch bobbing technique (explained at length further along in this site) works very well at Dah?ake.
