Description of the Site

The foundations of nineteen log structures can be seen at the site. Twelve of these were likely log cabins, and contain the remains of large stone fireplaces. Four cabins, dating to later occupations of the site, still stand, though in an advanced state of decay and in threat of collapse. The villages were used primarily in the winter and occasionally in other seasons.

Please respect these sites. If you visit, look, photograph, but please do not touch.
